On Sunday night, David Alaba was at the heart of the Bayern Munich defense as they defeated a Neymar-led Paris St. Germain 1-0 in the final of the Uefa Champions league.
Although PSG had a couple of chances to take the lead in the game, they fell behind in the game courtesy of a Kingsley Coman header in the second half.
Neymar & PSG tried all they could to get a goal to take the match into extra-time but all their efforts proved abortive as the Bayern defense proved unbreakable.

Bayern held on to get the narrow win and lift the trophy.
One of the highlights of the game was however after the final whistle. As the referee blew the final whitsle, most of the Bayer players went about celebrating except David Alaba.

Alaba was pictured consoling Neymar who had broken down in tears at full-time.
While Alaba’s team mates were hugging each other and celebrating, Alaba spent a considerable amount of time hugging Neymar and consoling him even after some PSG players had come to meet Neymar.

After few minutes, Alaba made sure Neymar was fine and went on to celebrate with his own teammates.
